The Irish Blue Cross is a truly special place to work, and I feel privileged to have been part of this incredible organisation for so many years.

I joined in 1995 as a Development Officer, when we were based in a small portacabin in Ranelagh. Since then, I’ve had the honour of seeing the charity grow from strength to strength. From expanding our mobile clinics and establishing our horse ambulance service, to the development of our highly successful Inchicore clinic in recent years.

These achievements are a testament to the dedication and compassion of our staff and volunteers, who deliver some of the most respected veterinary and animal welfare services in Ireland.

None of this would be possible without the continued support of our loyal donors and partners. I would also like to acknowledge the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine, whose support began in 1997 with funding for a new mobile veterinary clinic.

We are also fortunate to be guided by a voluntary Board of Trustees with a wealth of expertise across finance, legal, and veterinary fields. Their leadership ensures strong governance and helps shape the future of our organisation.

Together, through shared dedication and care, we continue to make a meaningful difference to the lives of pets and their families. Long may this continue.
